New Eirunepé Labor Court

Regional Labor Court of the 11th Region — Eirunepé, Amazonas, Brazil

The project involved the architectural and multidisciplinary engineering design of the new Labor Court facility in Eirunepé, a municipality located in the interior of the Brazilian Amazon.

Commissioned by the Regional Labor Court of the 11th Region — TRT11 — the assignment established the technical basis for a contemporary judicial facility capable of supporting public service, administrative activities and the daily operation of the Labor Justice system.

The architectural proposal was developed around accessibility, operational clarity and institutional functionality. Public-service areas, staff environments, controlled-access spaces and technical support functions were organized to create intuitive circulation and an appropriate separation between visitors, employees and internal judicial operations.

The multidisciplinary scope included architecture, accessibility, visual communication and landscape design, together with foundations, structural engineering and the full coordination of building systems. These systems covered electrical installations, structured data networks, CCTV, plumbing, sanitary sewer, stormwater drainage, wastewater treatment and air conditioning.

Accessibility was incorporated as a fundamental design principle, ensuring inclusive access and circulation for citizens, employees and visitors. Visual communication and wayfinding were also coordinated with the architectural layout to reinforce institutional identity and simplify orientation throughout the facility.

The inclusion of an on-site wastewater treatment system and dedicated stormwater infrastructure responded to the specific conditions of the location and the need for resilient, self-sufficient building services. These solutions were coordinated with the site, architecture and external infrastructure to support reliable long-term operation.

The project required the preparation, revision and coordination of preliminary studies, schematic and detailed designs, cost estimates and technical documentation. The compressed 56-day delivery period demanded an integrated workflow, precise interdisciplinary coordination and consistent control of project information.

Through the combination of architecture, engineering and public-sector planning, the project establishes a technically robust foundation for a new judicial facility designed to improve access to Labor Justice and strengthen federal institutional infrastructure in the Amazon region.
